The San José State University Women’s Tennis program has celebrated significant success, securing three conference championships in the last decade. Now, the team, led by Head Coach Chad Skorupka, is seeking support to direct funds towards providing scholarships for student-athletes, fostering a culture of continuous achievement and success.
“Our current players and program alumni take immense pride in these accomplishments,” shares Coach Skorupka. “We aim to showcase to our fans and incoming recruits that Spartan tennis is synonymous with excellence. By redirecting support towards scholarships, we can continue to attract top-tier talent and maintain our status as championship contenders.”
Contributions during 1857 Minutes of Giving will be channeled directly into the Women’s Tennis program to establish scholarships, creating opportunities for student-athletes to pursue their academic and athletic aspirations. These scholarships will not only support their education but also contribute to the team's overall competitiveness.

Your support goes beyond a trophy display; it becomes an investment in the personal and athletic development of our student-athletes. Any additional support beyond the scholarship fund will be applied to the team’s operating fund, addressing critical needs such as team travel, meals, recruiting efforts, and other essentials that enhance the overall experience of the program.
Join us in propelling Spartan tennis to new heights by contributing to scholarships that empower our athletes to achieve both on and off the court. Your generosity will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Women’s Tennis program.
Thank you for your support!
