Who We Are
The SJSU Business Honors Program is a premier experiential learning opportunity within the Lucas College of Business. Serving high-achieving students with an average GPA exceeding 3.5, our program aligns directly with the LCOB’s strategic plan by emphasizing career readiness, industry engagement, and real-world application. Each year, students collaborate on over 30 projects across diverse disciplines, gaining hands-on experience that bridges the gap between academia and industry.
Why We Are Raising Money
Our program is at a critical juncture. Historically growing at a rate of 10% annually, we’ve been forced to cap enrollment at 125 students for the first time in over a decade due to budget constraints. With additional funding, we can expand access, double enrollment, and enhance our experiential learning offerings, such as internships, certifications, and community initiatives. Previous campaigns have directly contributed to a 100% internship placement rate and a 90% post-graduation employment rate. This campaign aims to amplify these successes by creating new opportunities in sustainability, technology innovation, and social entrepreneurship while ensuring students from diverse backgrounds can thrive.
