The Spartan Psychology Association Research Conference (SPARC) began in 1957 as a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students in psychology to gain valuable experience presenting their research, building relationships with peers and faculty, and broadening their knowledge of cutting-edge research across diverse areas of psychological science.
Over the years, SPARC has flourished into one of the most prestigious regional forums for student presentations in psychology. What started as a single afternoon of talks in a classroom has evolved into an engaging full day program. This event now features multiple oral presentation sessions, poster presentations, and keynote addresses from distinguished scholars in psychology and related fields, making it an invaluable experience for students and attendees alike.
We are currently raising funds to establish several awards for SPARC 2026 that recognize excellence in student research. These awards will include honors for the best poster and best talk at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with runner-up awards in each category (a total of 8 awards). Your support will not only encourage participation but will also celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our students, fostering a spirit of academic excellence and innovation.
