The UndocuSpartan Student Resource Center (USRC) at San José State University provides guidance and direct support to students navigating higher education. We work closely with undocumented and mixed-status students while remaining accessible to anyone seeking clarity around legal services, financial resources, campus policies, academic systems, and leadership development. Our work is grounded in the lived experiences of SJSU students and focused on helping them move forward with accurate information and clear pathways.
We are raising funds to strengthen USRC initiatives that advance retention, graduation, and leadership development. Contributions will help provide book vouchers, expand leadership opportunities, support graduation initiatives, and invest in programs that foster belonging. These flexible funds allow us to respond to needs throughout the academic year and to support opportunities that enhance students’ academic and professional growth.
Reaching this goal means more students can access experiences that prepare them for careers or graduate study and reach key milestones toward degree completion. Our aim is to contribute to a campus environment where students and their families, regardless of immigration status, can navigate higher education with the support necessary to succeed.
