The Violence Prevention Committee of San José State University (SJSU) is a diverse coalition of higher education professionals and student leaders committed to preventing and addressing sexual violence, intimate partner/domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. Through evidence-based strategies, collaborative initiatives, educational programs, and transformative action, we aim to create a campus culture that prioritizes respect, safety, and inclusivity for all community members.
We are raising funds to enhance and expand our programs that directly impact the prevention of violence and harassment on campus. Previous campaigns have helped increase awareness, provide essential resources, and foster a supportive environment for survivors. With your support, this campaign will further amplify these efforts, reaching students, faculty and staff members, and creating a lasting impact on the SJSU community’s commitment to safety and respect.
Your contribution plays a vital role in enabling us to continue offering critical resources, education, and support for those affected by violence and harassment. By donating, you directly support our ongoing efforts to cultivate a campus culture where all individuals are empowered, respected, and safe. Together, we can ensure a future where violence is not tolerated, and everyone feels valued.

We successfully engage through tabling with students in Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We believe that adding more events, including outside speakers and interactive workshops, will further our efforts to educate on healthy relationships, consent, and similar topics to foster an inclusive SJSU community.
