Send SJSU Black Student Union Members to ABCC

This year, SJSU's Black Student Union (BSU) wants to bring eight of our most involved general members to the Afrikan Black Coalition Conference (ABCC). We want to extend this leadership opportunity beyond our executive board to the members who show up for our community.

ABCC brings Black students together to build leadership and learn how to drive real-world change. Over three days, attendees have the opportunity to join workshops on political education and power-building, along with peer-led sessions and keynote talks, that help enhance critical thinking and research skills.

Students leave the conference with practical tools to take on social and political challenges and a deeper connection to Black history and culture. For many, ABCC is their first experience of the richness of Black intellect and organizing power.

Your gift covers full registration and lodging for eight members. Every member who attends the workshops takes back leadership skills and a stronger sense of belonging back into their communities.

With your support, every SJSU student who is eager to lead will have a chance to attend ABCC. Give by December 1!
