Help SJSU IEEE Students Build Career-Ready Skills

Most students join SJSU IEEE because they want to be ready for industry, and they know classes alone won't get them there. Coursework teaches circuit analysis, signals, and programming. It rarely shows students how to turn that knowledge into a resume that stands out.

Our club exists to bridge that gap for our 100 members. Right now we can't afford a range of industry speakers or many hands-on workshops. Students who can't buy their own tools or don't have industry connections fall behind, even when they have the drive to learn.

Your gift buys development boards and project components, and funds resume and interview workshops, speaker events, and semester-long project programs. Members will build projects they can list on a resume and talk about in interviews, practice with tools used in industry, and hear from professionals about what employers look for.

We want every member who wants to grow as an engineer to have that chance, whatever their background or budget.

Our goal is $5,000, and our stretch goal is $6,000, which lets us reach more members with hands-on workshops and projects. Help us prepare the next generation of SJSU engineers. Give by December 1!
