For women, first-generation students, and students from underrepresented backgrounds, the path to law school can be hard to see, especially without mentors or preparation resources. The Law Association for Women (LAW) at SJSU helps our members clear those barriers and pursue a legal career and is open to all students.
Through workshops and networking events, we help members understand the application process and connect with guidance and professional perspectives. This campaign focuses on two things that make a direct difference for students preparing to apply.
Half of what we raise will buy LSAT preparation materials, including study guides, practice exams, and online study tools. The other half will cover transportation for law school tour trips, such as van or bus rentals, fuel, and parking, so members can visit campuses in person with fewer out-of-pocket costs.
These experiences help students prepare with confidence and build relationships that may shape their future careers. Your gift also helps us grow a lasting community of future leaders and advocates at SJSU.
Our goal is $2,000 and our stretch goal is $3,000. Give by December 1!
