Help SJSU's Taiwanese Student Association host a Career & Cultural Networking Event

Many SJSU students are getting ready for internships and first jobs, and they want guidance from people who have already walked that path. Not every student has access to mentors or professional connections. The Taiwanese Student Association wants to help close that gap.

We are organizing the Career & Cultural Networking Event, which will bring students together with professionals and members of the Taiwanese American community. Students will hear about different industries and get practical career advice, while celebrating Taiwanese culture with each other.

As a student organization, we have limited funds. Your gift pays for the event itself. Food and refreshments make up about 40% of our plan, and the rest supports guest speakers, cultural decorations and supplies, networking activities, and promotion. That support keeps the event welcoming and accessible to every student who wants to come.

We hope the connections made here last well beyond the event and strengthen ties between SJSU students and the broader Taiwanese American community.

Our goal is $500 and our stretch goal is $1,000, which would let us expand our programming and welcome more participants. Give by December 1!
