This April, SJSU's future audiologists want to be in the room where their profession moves forward.
We are Doctor of Audiology students and members of SJSU's Student Academy of Audiology (SAA). Each year, the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) conference brings together the researchers and clinicians shaping hearing care. It's one of our best chances to learn beyond the classroom, but for graduate students balancing a demanding doctoral program, the cost of attending is a real barrier.
Last year, with our donors' help, 11 SJSU students attended AAA, and over half presented their own research. We want to give even more students that experience.
Our $2,500 goal helps cover conference registration and travel to St. Louis, Missouri, and reaching our $3,500 stretch goal means we can support even more students. They'll learn the latest advances in audiology, share findings from their Doctoral Research Projects, and build connections that last a career. Then they'll bring that knowledge home to our patients and communities.
Help the next generation of audiologists become the evidence-based clinicians their patients deserve. Give by October 31!
