Every October, SJSU's Precision Flight Team puts its skills to the test. From October 10-16, our pilots compete against aviation programs across the western United States for the chance to represent SJSU nationally, alongside the country's largest aviation programs.
Regionals are a week of precision landings, flight testing, aeronautical regulations exams, and networking. It's where our members sharpen their skills, advance their ratings, and launch their careers. The results speak for themselves: every 2025 graduating senior now holds at least a commercial pilot license or works in aviation.
We're entirely student-run and donor-funded. The more we raise, the more teammates we can bring to competition, and the more students gain experience that only real-world flying can give.
