Support SJDB's Road to Tempe!

We are San Jose Dragon Boat (SJDB). Our team not only represents San Jose State University, but we are also the only CSU competing in dragon boat. For over a decade we have competed amongst some of the best college teams in the world, traveling to Southern California and Arizona for races. This past year our team sent two active paddlers and five alumni to Germany to represent Team USA's Under-24 boat in the International Dragon Boat Federation World Championships. SJDB is on the rise, with multiple top-3 finishes at regattas in the past year, including 2nd place in Women's Finals at this November's College Cup, 3rd place in Opens Finals at Regional Regatta in May, and 1st place in 250m knockouts at the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival last March.

OUR GOAL

We’re raising money to return to Tempe this March for the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival, a key competition for our season and development as a team. The Arizona Dragon Boat Festival is one of the biggest races we attend, with dozens of teams from across the Western United States competing. Funds raised will go directly toward travel costs and reducing race fees for paddlers, helping make competition more accessible regardless of financial background.
